PLUG GAUGE
According to the provisions of CNS4-2, the plug gauges are divided into full cylindrical plug gauges, full spherical plug gauges or disc gauges, arc spherical plug gauges, arc cylindrical rod gauges with reduced measuring surface, and ball end long rod gauges. Plug gauges can be divided into single-end cylindrical, end-cylindrical, circular, threaded, splined shaft, and replaceable plug gauges.
The way to distinguish between the open end and the unclear end can be expressed by the gauge length and red paint.
If it is single-ended, the front is the clear end and the back is the unclear end.
If it is double-ended, the longer one is a pass end, the shorter one is a dead end, and the groove painted with red paint is a dead end.
For round holes of various sizes, you can quickly check whether the hole diameter meets the required tolerance range.
The taper hole can also be checked outside the parallel hole.
